Report Payroll

ANNUAL PAYROLL REPORTING

The Workers’ Safety and Compensation Commission (WSCC) requires employers to report their payroll figures annually. In order to avoid a penalty, employers must report their payroll to the WSCC by February 28th each year.

PAYROLL - FAST FILE

Fast File is the easiest way for employers to report their payroll without having to sign up for an online user account. With Fast File, you can quickly report your payroll in one sitting.

To access Fast File, you must provide your company's Employer Number and a corresponding and valid Connect Code. If you are unsure about what your Employer Number and Connect Code is, please contact the WSCC at 1-844-238-5008.

ADVANCED PAYROLL REPORTING

Advanced Payroll Reporting enables employers to report their payroll online and take advantage of many other features and e-services. With Advanced Payroll Reporting, users can save their progress as they go, view their current and past assessment rates and classifications, and make a quick one-time assessment payment.

To access Advanced Payroll Reporting, you must:
  1. Create a WSCC Connect account;
  2. Use the Add an Employer feature on WSCC Connect to link your newly-created account with your employer; and
  3. Request permission from your employer’s WSCC Connect Access Administrator to report payroll on your employer’s behalf.

REVISE PAYROLL

If your payroll figures have changed, you can notify the WSCC by revising your payroll. It is important to inform the WSCC of any changes to your payroll in order to avoid a penalty.
