Payroll
The Workers’ Safety and Compensation Commission (WSCC) requires employers to report their payroll figures annually. In order to avoid a penalty, employers must report their payroll to the WSCC by February 28th each year.
To report their payroll, employers must provide the following information to the WSCC:
- An actual payroll figure for the previous calendar year; and
- An estimated payroll figure for the current calendar year.
The WSCC will then use this information to calculate employer assessment.
