How long will it take to register my business?

It takes approximately 15 minutes to apply to register your business online. Once submitted, you will be contacted by the WSCC within 3 business days after submitting your application. Before you begin, please make sure you have the following information:

• Business legal name.
• CRA Business Number.
• Business contact information.
• Information about the Ownership Type of your business, such as, Partnership, Sole Proprietor, Corporation, Society, or Not for Profit. The documentation to support the Ownership Type of the business can be uploaded at the end of the registration before clicking submit.
• Information about the owners and/or directors of your business, including:
  • First and last names
  • Dates of birth
  • Personal Optional Coverage decision
  • Any associations with businesses previously registered with the WSCC
•  Start Date of your business’s operations within the NT and/or NU.
• An estimate of your business’s total annual payroll within the NT and/or NU.
