How long does it take to submit an Employer’s Report of Incident?
The Employer’s Report of Incident contains two parts: An Incident Section and an Injury and Fatality Section.
It takes approximately 15 minutes to complete the Incident Section, and must be done in one session. Once submitted, you will receive an email notification with a copy of the submitted Incident Report.
You will then be required to complete and submit one report for every injured worker or fatally injured worker involved in the incident.
Providing you have all the information required, it takes approximately 25 minutes to complete one Employer’s Report of Injury, and approximately 10 minutes to complete one Employer’s Report of Fatality. For more information on what is required, click here.
For the Injury and Fatality Section, you do not have to complete your reporting in one session. You are able to save as you work through each section. Once you have completed every section of an Injury Report or Fatality Report, please ensure you click ‘submit’ for each individual report.
For every report you submit, you will receive an email notification with a copy of the submitted Injury or Fatality Report.
