It takes four steps to complete an APR, including:

  1. Company Activities provides users:
    1. A summary of their company’s current industry classification information; and
    2. An opportunity to update the general description of their company’s operations in the Northwest Territories (NT) and Nunavut (NU).
  2. Payroll requires Users to provide the following information for each of the industry subclasses applicable to the NT and/or NU operations of the company they represent:
    1. Actual payroll for the previous calendar year; and
    2. Payroll estimate for the current calendar year.F
  3. Employment Datarequires users provide information on the number of actual full-time equivalent employees who worked for thecompany they represent within NT and/or NU over the course of the previous calendar year.
  4. Review and Submit
    1. The system checks all the information entered by the user, pointing out any invalid or missing information; and
    2. The user:
      1. Reviews all of the entered information;
      2. Enters any missing required information; and
  • Submits the APR to the WSCC.

NOTE: Upon submitting your APR, they system may automatically request that you provide a list of the contractors whom your company hired in the Northwest Territories and/or Nunavut during the previous calendar year.
